We’re Focused on What Matters Most in the Permian Basin

At the Junior League of Odessa, we live in the moment. That means listening to our community, identifying its most urgent needs, and mobilizing our members to address them. Our work is always evolving, keeping us focused, adaptable, and ready to take on whatever comes next.

Right now, our community goal is to provide essential support to local students and elderly, which we are doing through our Pink Pantry and Silver Pantry programs. So far, we have made great progress by distributing hygiene products to every high school and middle school in Ector County through Pink Pantry, and by teaming up with Meals on Wheels to deliver nutritional supplements and daily essentials to elderly community members through Silver Pantry. We are building momentum with plans to expand both programs and reach even more people in need.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to develop women into civic leaders while improving the communities where we live and work. By focusing on child advocacy through Pink Pantry and elderly care through Silver Pantry, we are creating meaningful opportunities for our members to lead and make a positive impact in the Permian Basin.

Leadership that Builds Stronger Communities

The Junior League of Odessa is more than a volunteer organization. It is a training ground for women leaders. Through hands-on work, community partnerships, and advocacy, our members create lasting impact. We equip women with the tools and knowledge they need and then empower them to use their skills and creativity to solve real challenges right here at home.

Transforming Our Community Through Action

Whatever the focus, our mission remains the same: improving Odessa through effective action and leadership. Currently, our most pressing initiatives are Pink Pantry and Silver Pantry. This year, our members have provided hygiene products to students across Ector County and delivered supplements and essential care items to seniors in need. We are committed to continuing and expanding these efforts, bringing us closer to our goal of a stronger, healthier, and more connected Permian Basin.
