Welcome to Year 78 of Junior League of Odessa!

When I joined Junior League of Odessa in 2015, I was looking for something simple: connection. Having only lived in Odessa a few years, I was still searching for my place in the community and hoping to build meaningful friendships.

What I found was so much more.

Over the past decade, Junior League of Odessa has given me lifelong friendships, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and a deeper connection to the city I am proud to call home. It has challenged me, encouraged me, and helped shape me into the leader I am today. Serving as President of this remarkable organization is an honor I do not take lightly.

As we begin our 78th year of service, our theme is Empowered to Serve, Inspired to Lead.

For nearly eight decades, Junior League of Odessa has been committed to developing women leaders and improving our community through volunteer service, advocacy, and meaningful partnerships. That mission remains as important today as it was when our League was founded.

This year, we are continuing that commitment by investing $50,000 in community assistance funding while creating even more opportunities for our members to serve alongside local nonprofit organizations through hands-on volunteer projects. We believe lasting impact happens not only through financial support, but also through the gift of time, talent, and service.

We are also excited about the future of Merry Marketplace, our signature fundraiser that helps make our community impact possible. This year will bring exciting new changes to the event, and we look forward to sharing those details soon. We are incredibly grateful for the businesses, sponsors, shoppers, and community supporters who make Merry Marketplace a success year after year. Your support allows us to continue investing in programs and organizations that strengthen Odessa.

The strength of Junior League of Odessa has always been its members, women who are passionate about serving others and creating positive change. Together, we are building on a proud legacy while preparing the next generation of leaders to make an impact in our community.
