How do I increase my chances of being accepted?

We carefully review every application to curate a high-quality, well-balanced shopping experience. Here’s how you can strengthen your submission:

1. Submit a complete application.
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed and may delay consideration. Double-check that all required fields, uploads, and information are included before submitting.

2. Apply by the April 30 deadline.
Applications received by April 30 receive priority consideration. You are still welcome to submit after the deadline, but late applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.

3. Provide detailed product information.
Be specific about what you sell. Describe your product line, price range, target customer, and what makes your merchandise stand out. Tell us why your products are popular and a good fit for Merry Marketplace.

4. Upload high-quality, accurate photos.
Include clear photos of your products and past booth displays. Strong visuals matter—we prioritize applicants with appealing merchandise and attractive booth design.

If this is your first market, share what makes your product compelling and describe your plan for creating an inviting, professional booth space.

Taking the time to present a polished, thoughtful application makes a strong impression and increases your likelihood of acceptance.

I have submitted my application, now what?

All applications are thoughtfully reviewed by a jury of Junior League volunteers.

To receive priority consideration, please submit your application by April 30. Applicants who apply by this deadline can expect to receive a decision by the end of May.

Once decisions are finalized, we will notify you by email regarding your status, either acceptance into the show or placement on the waitlist. If you are waitlisted, don’t worry. Each year, several merchants are moved from the waitlist into the show as space becomes available.

Missed the deadline? You’re still welcome to apply. Applications submitted after April 30 are reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.

Once accepted, you can start making your payments in the merchant portal and deadlines will be shared. Please note: failure to meet payment deadlines will result in forfeiting your space in the show.

Can I choose my booth location?

You may request a booth number or endcap when applying. However, final booth assignments are made by the Junior League to ensure the best event flow.

  • Endcaps are limited and not guaranteed.

  • Booth numbers are not released prior to the event, so please do not contact us to request them.

What happens if I am on the waitlist?

If you are placed on the waitlist, there is still a possibility you will still be offered a booth. Each year, spaces become available for a variety of reasons, and we regularly move merchants into the show from the waitlist. If your status changes, we will contact you directly with next steps.

Why should I participate?

  • Exposure to more than 6,000 shoppers in one weekend

  • A festive, well-established holiday shopping tradition

  • Opportunity to support the Junior League of Odessa—100% of proceeds benefit local community outreach
