Our Fundraisers

The Junior League of Odessa hosts two signature fundraisers each year, each designed to bring our community together while supporting the League’s mission to improve the lives of women, children, and families in the Permian Basin.

Merry Marketplace

Merry Marketplace is our largest and most well-known annual fundraiser. Held during the first full week in November at the Ector County Coliseum, this festive event features a wide variety of vendors, unique gifts, and local artisans. Attendees enjoy shopping for the holidays while supporting the League’s programs and initiatives.

Merry Marketplace also includes signature events that add to the experience:

• Premier Shopping Night – an exclusive evening for early access to vendors and special promotions

• Ladies Luncheon & Style Show – a fashionable and fun event featuring local designers

• Breakfast with Santa – a family-friendly morning to celebrate the season with the kids

These events provide opportunities for community members to connect, give back, and enjoy the spirit of the season while supporting the League’s charitable work.

Carriage Rides

Our Carriage Rides event offers a charming and memorable experience for families and friends. Guests can enjoy leisurely horse-drawn carriage rides through Odessa, creating magical moments in the heart of the community. Proceeds from Carriage Rides directly support the League’s charitable programs, helping fund initiatives that make a lasting impact across the region.
